This Privacy Policy explains how Alışverişte ("the Application") collects, uses, and protects user information. By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data Collection and Access Permissions

Alışverişte requests the following permissions and data from your device in order to perform its core functions:

• Camera and Gallery Access: These permissions are required so you can take photos or select images from your gallery to create polls. Selected photos are uploaded to our remote servers to manage the polling process.
• Contacts Access: Within the scope of the "Virtual Group" feature, a list of your device contacts is requested solely to enable you to send your polls to your selected friends. This data is not shared with third parties, processed for marketing, or permanently stored on our servers.
• Device Identifier (ID): The Application generates a unique, anonymous device ID for each user. This ID is used to securely match and track your polls and votes within the database; it is not linked to your real identity.

3. Data Storage and Security

The photos you upload for your polls and the polling data are stored on secure remote servers and cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) infrastructure. Reasonable technical and administrative measures are implemented to protect your information; however, it should be noted that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not directly intended for use by children under the age required by applicable laws. Alışverişte does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

5. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will become effective as soon as they are published within the Application.
